My name is Ryan Pitkin and I am 21 years old. I live in Charlotte, North Carolina where I go to school for journalism. I am a big movie buff and my favorite movies of all time are Children of Men, Bobby and Forrest Gump. In that order. I am a big fan of rock and hip hop and favorites include White Stripes, Black Keys, Nas, Mobb Deep, Sublime, Rage Against the Machine and others. I try to read alot but in the summer I don’t often get around to it. Some of my favorite books are Angela’s Ashes, Kite Runner and all kinds of biographies and memoirs from Squeaky Fromme and Jim Morrison to Mayflower pilgrims and Abe Lincoln. I hate reading movie reviews until I’ve already seen the movie. I hope to one day be an international reporter ideally for a non-American media outlet.
